Ideas fuel the advertising industry, but finding time to dedicate resource to actual ideation is one of the biggest challenges agencies face. It’s hard to upskill your staff with multiple deadlines looming.

So, what if there was a school dedicated to creating time for thinking ideas? And what if these ideas earned you a spot at Cannes Lions 2018?

The School of Thought does exactly this.

12 participants. 12 intense weeks of generating ideas and pitching to agencies. One standout student who will represent the best of the North West at next year’s Cannes Lions.

And we’re proud to be next in line to host this incredible journey for them.

On November 6th and 9th, 12 Creatives will hear from our Creative Director, Sunny Deo, and present their ideas in response to a challenging creative brief.

This isn’t the first time we’ve been involved in School of Thought either. Our Content Manager, Ruth Hartnoll, took part in the pilot year of the programme - read about her experiences and how it changed her creative process.

Creative Director Sunny Deo had this to say about hosting the event;

“When School of Thought was first brought to my attention, my first thought was, wow, that would’ve been nice to have back in the day!

This industry is a whirlwind of emotions; the excitement of the unknown, the struggles of disappointment, and the joys of coming through it all. And it means the world to us at Access to give back and assist the next generation along their creative journey.”

We can’t wait to hear the ideas - be sure to follow the night live on our Twitter and Instagram feeds!
